Added Overlanding Forum

I don't consider myself an overlander but I do like to go car camping and occasionally go on longer trips with cool gadgets and figured that that may be a good section to add.

I've got a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that's my overlanding rig but I've really not done anything special to it other than take out the back seat and install a Ham radio.

I don't consider myself a true Overlander either, but I have owned a 4WD vehicle since before I was legally able to drive.  Most of them Jeep brand.  And I have done a good bit of off-road driving and camping with one or more of those, so....maybe I am an official Overlander?

My current Jeep is a 1998 Wrangler Sahara that has 3" lift; 33" BFG Mud-Terrains; additional skid plates; front-mounted winch; both hard and soft tops for the changing seasons; and a receiver hitch which hauls my bike rack and kayak rack.

I tried to add a photo, but couldn't get it to link.  I'll play with that and try to add one later.

Awesome, a fellow Jeeper 🙂

As far as the pictures, I believe that I have them disabled at the moment.  I mentioned it in another post but basically the cost to host the site is based on a number of factors including storage.  Pictures take up a lot more storage than text (and require some additional configuration and plug-ins for the site) so, until I figure out what I'm doing and have a bit of a plan, I'll probably keep them off.  I know I'll have to enable it at some point, I'm just trying to hold off as long as I can.
